Drawing on their combined creative backgrounds, Jennifer and Saul Torres opened Cedars Art House in 2017. Although their offerings have evolved over the years, even extending beyond their walls, their vision has remained clear: Create a warm, welcoming environment to help people connect to creativity.

Jennifer Torres

Jennifer has over 25 years of experience teaching visual art to both children and adults via public education, summer art camps, workshops, professional development trainings, and non-profits arts education.

As an art educator, Jennifer excels at teaching all ages and all experience levels how to communicate ideas or feelings effectively through a variety of visual art mediums while providing a fun, supportive atmosphere that encourages creativity.

Saul Torres

Saul has enjoyed roles as a creative leader and executive in both agency and corporate environments. Although he’s always been a designer and a writer, his true calling has been mentoring others.

After receiving his Masters in Visual Communications, Saul spent 10 years as a visiting professor at local universities. He has taught design, branding, art direction, data visualization, and portfolio preparation. Currently, Saul is Chief Creative Officer for a global branding agency helping companies expand into new markets.
